Because mankind fell, he fell from absolute truth and wholeness and oneness.

The devil fell as well,, and in a fallen system that fell from truth, you will have nothing but lies which are partial truths,,,

The system needs absolute truth to be able to see anything rightly, and that truth comes from Jesus and from the bible and the holy spirit.

The truth is encoded in creation but because man fell his mind is corrupted from seeing the whole truth rightly divided..

The only way man can get back to whole truth is via rightly dividing it by the power of the holy spirit
